Yeah, some of the things I said yesterday arent really happening. Let me tell you whats up ATM:

-Some of the albion images are missing. Until I can either A. Find the backup CD or B. Transform the thumbnails into badly scaled full size images, you will just have to suffer. I'm sorry.
-The reverse order thing had a few bugs. Those should be fixed now.
-"Other forums" and "Search DAOCV" pages were missing. They are being uploaded now.
-What I meant by "I am currently working on a better system to go between pages rather then having to go through one by one" is that the screenshot pages will have numbers between the [.:Back:.] and [.:Next:.] so you can easily skip around.
-If you have been on in the last few hours, then you probably noticed some bugs. This is because I have to upload the page to the server to test it out correctly. Please bear with me.

19-Apr-2003 6:53 PM - New Layout!

Ok, an update is LONG overdue.... but as you can see this one is worth it, I hope. I have hit over 3,300 people so far. EasyTraffix alone has sent through over 200 people. I have almost 70 screenshots (Before this). I am beginning to amass a small but respectable fan base. I am beginning to add links to many other sites, and sites are linking to me. I am currently taking a web design class and have found how to work lots more pieces of Photoshop... as you can see. And here is the result of nearly a week of working.... an entire new layout, JUST for you! Stay tuned, I am planning to release some more screenshots later today. One more thing: Thank you! Thank ALL of you! I am just glad I can give back to the DAOC community who has helped me so much!

Big new things in this update:

-New layout, duh
-Advanced techniques for displaying, now should show fewer graphics bugs... I hope!
-Clicking an outside link will not only open a new window, it will open it inside a frame inside a DAOC views window... heh just try it :)
-Support for more things in the menu, notice they do not work yet (I am currently collecting them, expect the links to work later tonight or early tomorrow)
-Screenshots will now display in reverse order, newest to oldest.
-Searching is now it's own page, rather than at the bottom of every page
-You can now again go directly to realms from the menu, rather then going through a sub-page with annoying large graphics that take forever to load.
-I am currently working on a better system to go between pages rather then having to go through one by one.
-I have many screenshots waiting to be uploaded. Look for them soon.

Ok, I added an ad back in. This one should not be annoying. It is a TRUE pop-under. It lets me get better traffic to my site. Its actually rather cool. If you have a pop-up blocker (I reccomend Pop-Up Stopper companion, www.panicware.com) it will be stopped and I still get credited. I actually reccomend you ignore the pop-up, as DAOC views doesnt really fit in with any of the categories, and some of the sites are pretty lame. But, hey, more traffic is more traffic. If you want to use this service, please contact me, because I will get even more hits if I refer you to them :) Click the little "Contact me" button on the menu. Thanks!

16-Feb-2003 8:16 PM - Oohh! Ads gone! And other little things.

Wohoo! I figured out how to get rid of the ads! EAT YOUR HEART OUT! Also, added a few minor things around the site. Links to other sites now open in a new window. Added 2 more links to the links section. Messed around with the menu a little bit so the "Home" link is easier to read. There was a PHP error, if you noticed, whenever you tried to access the screenshots section... that is now fixed. I put the file in the wrong place. Doh!

3-Feb-2003 03:43 PM - Hrmm....

Well.. if any of you have noticed, the site was down yesterday and part of the day before, and I just got it back up now. This is nothing of my doing, they simply deleted my entire account without giving me any sort of reason, and I did not commit any terms violation. If anyone has any good, free hosting services they know of, please tell me. Cause once I find one, CoolFreePages.com is byebye. Also... re-added a counter, I like it more personally (lots more options you can do to it) but it doesnt track some other stats I liked before. Oh well.
